Niche marketing need not puzzle the beginner.
Let’s explain what a niche market is with an example (I used to be a teacher!)
There’s a huge amount of interest and money spent in the dogs market.
If you do a Google search on “dogs” you find Millions of web pages – I just looked and found 150 million
So lets reduce the competition by looking at a niche in the dog market…
If you look just above the first entry on the page you’ll see “Show Options”…
Click it and you get a little menu.

Looking down you see the Wonder wheel – and it
shows a simple mind map about dogs.
These are ALL NICHES and Google is telling you which niches it recognises
Just pick one of them and pop that into Google search again shall we? Let’s pick dog breeds and we get 10, 300,000 web pages for that.
That is big and you may want to find a smaller niche and if you try rare dog breeds you get 303, 000
That is a doabale niche!
That is small enough to enter and have some chance of building a profitable business.
For much more information on how to do this try Chris Frevill’s new guide to Niche Markets
That’s all for now – feel free to ask questions and comment
